UNIFORM

We expect pupils to maintain a high standard of dress coming to and from school.  This can only be maintained by all pupils co-operating fully with the guidelines for uniform and we depend on the support of parents to ensure that standards are upheld..

 

BOYS' UNIFORM

School blazer (White Badge)

Black trousers,

White shirt,

Striped clip on school tie, (White Stripes)

Green V-necked sweater (White Stripes)

Black shoes and socks

GIRLS' UNIFORM

School blazer (White Badge)

Green kick pleat skirt

White blouse,

Striped clip on school tie, (White stripes)

School Green V-necked sweater (White stripes)

Black tights

Black flat-heeled shoes

 

 

COATS

Only the school coat or a plain black coat can be worn to school

 

SCHOOL BLAZER

All pupils must wear the school blazer at all times.

 

SCHOOL SCARF

Only the school scarf to be worn OR a plain black scarf

 

JEWELLERY

One small pair of stud earrings only.  For health and safety reasons pupils are forbidden to wear hooped earrings.  Facial jewellery worn as a result of piercing must not be worn to school. These are strictly forbidden. If there is a piercing, clear retainers can be purchased to maintain the piercing.

 

HOODIES

Unfortunately, a number of students continue to wear hoodies to school. The high standard of many of our student’s uniform is spoiled by a variety of colours of hoodies seen on students in the morning.  These are strictly forbidden

 

HAIR COLOUR

While we want to encourage our young people to be individuals, only natural hairs colours are permitted in school.

PE UNIFORM

All students will be expected to be properly attired for Physical Education.  There is a compulsory PE uniform that all pupils must wear. Trainers must be worn by all pupils during PE lessons.  Football boots will be required for outdoor activities.

SCHOOL COATS

Following continued requests from students we have introduced two options of a school coat. We would encourage the purchase of the school half or a school coat so that students can use these in cold weather, if they are taking part in sports events and for after school activities.
